Uses:

It is mainly used as a high boiling point solvent for paints, especially nitro spray paint, quick-drying paint, varnish, enamel and paint strippers. It is also used as an adhesive inactive diluent, metal detergent, paint stripper, fiber wetting agent, pesticide dispersant, drug extractant, and resin plasticizer.
